When planning our wedding, my now-husband and I wanted something chill that reflected our aesthetic. That is, a weekend of eating, drinking and the ‘90s jams of our elder-millennial youth. With minimal decor. Zero frills. And even less sentimentality. Which seemed simple enough. But people had other ideas.
